Description

Premium Beef Marrow Bones from L & S Farms

Our beef marrow bones come from cattle we’ve raised for nearly 50 years on our Southern Indiana farm in Vallonia. These bones are prized for their rich, creamy marrow that’s packed with nutrients and incredible flavor.

What Makes Our Marrow Bones Special: Our marrow bones come from grass-fed, grain-finished Angus X cattle raised right here at L & S Farms in Vallonia, Indiana, located between Indianapolis and Louisville. The marrow inside these bones is buttery, rich, and full of healthy fats and minerals. No hormones or unnecessary additives, just honest, farm-raised beef from cattle we know and care for.

Great For: Roasted bone marrow as an appetizer or spread on crusty bread, gourmet restaurant-quality dishes at home, rich bone broth full of collagen and minerals, adding depth of flavor to sauces and gravies, and providing nutrient-dense food for your pets.

Cooking Tip: For roasted marrow, stand bones upright in a roasting pan and cook at 450 degrees for 15-20 minutes until the marrow is soft and starting to separate from the bone. Sprinkle with sea salt and fresh herbs, then scoop out with a small spoon and spread on toasted bread. For bone broth, roast first then simmer for 12-24 hours with vegetables and a splash of vinegar.

Pick up at L & S Farms near Starve Hollow State Park at 2859 S 300 W, Vallonia, IN 47281. We’re convenient for customers from Columbus, Indianapolis, Louisville, and throughout Southern Indiana.
